Our Services:

At Changing Tides ABA Therapy — Home, we believe behavior therapy should feel warm, respectful, and downright human. Our compassionate ABA approach blends evidence-based techniques with kindness, empathy, and a healthy sense of fun so children and families can thrive without feeling like they’re stuck in a clinic.

Why families choose our compassionate ABA

  • Child-centered care: We start with who your child is — their strengths, interests, and rhythms — and build goals that matter to your family. Therapy is playful, tailored, and never one-size-fits-all.

  • Respectful, relationship-first methods: Progress happens best when trust is present. Our therapists prioritize connection, consent, and dignity, using reinforcement and teaching strategies that honor the child’s feelings and autonomy.

  • Real-world learning in the clinic, home, & community: Skills learned in therapy should translate to everyday life. After we establish a rapport in the clinic, we may provide in-home sessions and community coaching so gains generalize naturally — at the kitchen table, the playground, or during grocery runs.

  • Family partnership and training: You know your child best. We empower caregivers with practical tools, positive strategies, and coaching that fit your family routine. We offer structured parent/caregiver training training, and encourage open and frequent communication.

  • Data-driven, outcome-focused: Compassion doesn’t mean compromising quality. We use clear, measurable goals and ongoing progress tracking so every change is meaningful and visible.

  • Playful, motivating sessions: Learning is more effective when it’s fun! Our therapists use games, play, and the child’s favorite interests to teach communication, social skills, self-regulation, and independence.

Ready to see therapy that honors your child and your family? Let’s make progress feel personal — and fun.

  • 1:1 ABA Therapy One-on-one ABA gives your child focused, personalized support. A trained therapist builds communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors. Sessions match your child’s strengths, interests, and pace using positive, evidence-based strategies. The result: greater confidence, independence, and more smiles.

  • ABA Social Skills Group Therapy

Help your child build friendships, confidence, and real-world social smarts in a fun, supportive setting. Our ABA social skills groups use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, turn-taking, emotional recognition, and flexible play — all through games, role-play, and structured activities that feel like play, not work. Small groups, individualized goals, and trained therapists mean each child practices skills at their own pace while learning to read social cues, start and keep conversations, and handle everyday social challenges.

  • ABA parent training sessions focus on the "why" behind behaviors and give you practical tools to change them. We break down the functions of behavior—attention, escape, access to tangibles, and sensory—to help you understand what’s driving your child’s actions. From there, we teach function-based interventions that match the reason for the behavior, like teaching replacement skills, adjusting routines, and setting up predictable reinforcement so good behavior grows and problem behavior shrinks.

Session formats are individualized and flexible. Whether its in the clinic, or via zoom, each session includes physical/digital handouts, practice scenarios, video vignettes and additional resources that provide clear strategies and simple data collection techniques.

Learn to respond to your child’s challenging behaviors in ways that work!
